Sean, I'm not sure we understood each other.
I'm not gonna use a DAC's clock to drive the Transporter, but a separate, high quality clock to drive BOTH the DAC and the Transporter. Having a separate clock to drive multiple devices is a standard right now in ProAudio industry and is also used by such a renowed companies as dCS and Esoteric in their top of the range CD transport/dac/clock combinations.
