No I get that - FPGA's changed everything. But there's a big difference between DSP within audio gear and large-scale commercial Enterprise computing...(as I'm sure you know) ...and yes I am 100% comfortable that I understand the difference between hardware and software! -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
