My experience says that usually refurb units are less prone to any faults. Anyway... I wonder if there is a way to verify if Transporter is refurb or not. I got one of those deals and so far, after 8 months, unit has been behaving perfectly. On the other hand it's modified so can't tell for sure what would happen if it was stock...
