Hi No experience of the Transporter, but I have had a Duet for some time and then took a gamble to upgrade to a Touch - the sound is noticeably better, I control it with the Duets remote so I get the best of both worlds, the Touchscreen is a waste of a touchscreen IMHO!. If I were you I would definitely audition a Transporter and Touch before spending that kind of money. For me, my Touch outperforms my Naim CD5i by a noticeable margin, using the analogue outs straight into my amp. Maybe I will try an Transporter one day! Dave
