I own a transporter and two touches. The TP is easily my top pick. I do like the touch a lot though. Having previously owned two duet/controllers, I feel the touch is a big improvement. Besides the touch's improved sound, my duet remotes often seemed slow and seemed to need to get updates or buffer or whatever often enough that it was annoying. One of the touches sits exactly where a duet once was and the touch is much more reliable as a wireless network participant. I sold the duets and have not regretted it for even a moment.
