Hi Guys Help!! I've just received a NAD M2 digital amp which in theory can accept any digital sample rate from 32-192kHz. However, when I connect my beloved Transporter (TS) to it there's nothing coming out the other side.
The M2 isn't locking on to the digital signal from the TS. I also own a (superb) Weiss Medea DAC and that locks on to any output from the TS and plays just fine. I've had the two systems running in parallel, the Weiss plays, the M2 silent. I've tried connecting to the M2 via the AES, RCA and Toslink but no joy. I've tried music on my harddrive thats at various different sample rates but nothing :( Any ideas? I've tried the latest Squuezeserver 7.5.1 and also an old install 6.5.xx but no joy. As my Transporter is one of the Slim originals (ie not Logitech) and the Weiss is also a few years old now, has there been a change of protocol? The NAD M2 happily locks onto a Toslink from my PC with various sample rates, also from an old TAG DVD/CD transport via RCA and it locks onto the 44.1 or 48kHz signals perfectly. I think I've tried the obvious, I've asked NAD to think it over on my behalf - now I'd very much appreciate any thoughts from the people behind the Transporter. Much obliged.... -- dpaws Transporter / Weiss Medea / Vitus SS-010 / Quad 2905 / Duet controller - awesome! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dpaws's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16896 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80620 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
