I use the same router and also a cable connection. I applied full toolbox tweaks and never had any problem, my buffer is arround 4000 as I remember. But I got crackling sound with lower buffer setting. Sorry but I don't have an easy answer except that it should work. And I still use 7.5.3 SBS, 7.5.4 revision had some issues Chris
