I run a 'last years' Cyrus Pre XPd Qx into active Dynaudio 110a speakers, fed by an SBT - and am still delighted by the sound it delivers.
If you like the Cyrus sound, and it fits in with your other components, I think tthe Cyrus 'bricks' make good system building block, especially now they are more upgradeable - such as adding in the Qx DAC chip to existing Pre Xp box.
