I cut and pasted SBGK's priority settings ito my tt file and its an improvement - I like it. As he had kept SPDIF priority at 40 I thought I'd try different settings see what effect it had.
51 hit the sweet spot in my system. Thinking about how all the mods have progressed I remembered John Swensons "best" settings for Dynobot's mods (51 Spdif, 59 Jive_Alsa) nd thought I'd give those a go. Frustratingly they were even better than SPDIF=51 using SBGKs settings... BUT there was a constant crackle, similar to what having too low a buffer setting. Its annoying as these settings gave the best sound - apart form the crackle.
