Chris - I want XO for its time domain correction and Group Delay features rather than it's crossover capabilities. I wish Bernt would produce a version between AL and AL XO but he doesn't seem to want to do that. :-( By the way, my measurement process is somewhat different to yours - not better, just different. My speakers are positioned slightly asymettrically with respect to my normal listening position. I place the mic where my ears would normally be. The AL measurements take into account the left/right delay discrepancy and level differences (<0.5dB) caused by the asymettry. I can also use the Inguz skew and balance controls to tweak things very slightly later. The net result is that I get a textbook perfect "stereo" image from a slightly offset listening position and speaker setup - another thing that is not possible without DRC (or at least without the ability to delay one channel in time slightly. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
