There's a big difference between vapid efforts to claim superiority and people actually feeling insulted or offended. Bragodoccio just comes with the territory in audio forums. You also missed the point - "revealing system" is a meaningless term. It conveys no consistent characteristic about the wide variety of systems which people refer to.
