Following this thread I have recently had a problem with ethernet connection to my TP. My IPAD shows that the track is playing but the TP gives no indication of this and no sound is transmitted (the needles are silent). I know that the ethernet cable is working and in fact I have also tries a secondary one just to prove the connection but Xlink and cold booting have no effect. The irony is that if I switch to wireless I have no problems but I would much prefer to have the hard wired capability. Is this a hardware fault in the RJ45 socket or is there some other devious solution
