I don't have a SB Receiver, hence the lack of measurements at this point...
One thing I will say looking at the spec sheets, the BB PCM 1748 in the SB3 *could* be better than the Receiver's Wolfson WM8501 assuming the Wiki is correct. Of course, much of this depends on how the analogue output is implemented, resistance from RF noise with the wireless system...
