I just tested this on my system and it works OK. Playing to a Transporter, firmware 87, with LMS 7.9.
In Settings > Advanced > Logging I set '(player.source) - Player Source Audio & Conversion Logging' to Info. In the server.log I see the following lines (search for the word 'Tokenized') Code: -------------------- [15-01-12 06:30:12.2430] Slim::Player::Song::open (558) Tokenized command: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Logitech Media Server 7.9 Test\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread\flac.exe" -cs --totally-silent --compression-level-0 -- "D:\Audio - Test\AIFF\Ray Anderson\Blues Bred in the Bone\01 Blues Bred In The Bone.aif" | "C:\Program Files (x86)\Logitech Media Server 7.9 Test\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread\sox.exe" -q -t flac - -t flac -C 0 - | [15-01-12 06:32:43.2845] Slim::Player::Song::open (558) Tokenized command: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Logitech Media Server 7.9 Test\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread\flac.exe" -cs --totally-silent --compression-level-0 -- "D:\Audio - Test\AIFF\Red Hot Chili Peppers\Freaky Styley [24-192]\01 Jungle Man.aif" | "C:\Program Files (x86)\Logitech Media Server 7.9 Test\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread\sox.exe" -q -t flac - -t flac -C 0 -r 96000 - | -------------------- The first entry is playing a standard redbook CD track at 16/44.1. You can see that the AIFF file is streamed to the Transporter as FLAC. The second entry is playing a 24/192 file. It too gets streamed as FLAC, but it's resampled at 96k. Did you by any chance disable the default conversion of AIFF to FLAC in Settings > Advanced > File Types? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102893 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
