This is incorrect; the package was orphaned in response to a regular
AUR orphan request [1], which was accepted after the claim (package was
out of date) was determined to be valid, and no objections were made in
the two-week cooldown period.

You should have received an email about this, both when the request was
submitted and when it was accepted by Muflone.

This is disputable and what this user is attempting seems valid, even
if not strictly necessary. I would suggest to give them the time to
update fix the package as they appear to be working on it.
