Might be a good idea to check for any .<package>.install
files
across the AUR.
I noticed that the metadata records dependencies and conflicts but not
the one field that names a file pacman runs as root. No |Install| field
anywhere.
What metadata record? Do you mean packages-meta-ext-v1.json.gz?
This makes it impossible to answer Saren's question with a single
download instead of cloning the whole AUR.
Even with the metadata records how would you inspect the PKGBUILDs?
Is that a gap or a feature? Would it be possible to add such a field please?
You don't need to clone the whole AUR either way, just the GitHub mirror [1]
