Thanks for your reply David. There sure is a wealth of knowledge lurking out
there in Aus Gliding!

SoaringPilot and Palms have been common in the replies . . I wonder if
anyone is using the iPaq programs that I am considering?

*GPS_Log_ce is free for the iPaq and looks quite comprehensive.
*Winpilot looks wonderful, but that price!!
*Glide Navigator II has made an especially clever attempt to make it easy to
see/use in flight. Paul Remde of Cumulus Soaring Supplies
http://www.cumulus-soaring.com notes that "Pocket-NAV will not be moving
forward as it has been succeeded by Glide Navigator II. Also, we are working
to have Glide Navigator do flight declarations to the 302 and flight log
downloads from the 302.
