Yup :-)

I drove out to Waikerie this morning and bugged Mark Morgan for a
conversion to their Discus 2BT.

The day rocked. I lost count of the number of turnpoints I zipped
through around the Riverland area, from Veitch in the South East to
Pelican Point and Blanchetown in the North West, and Maggea and
Wunkar in the South.

There were two downsides. One was the appalling Cambridge in the
Discus (I'll have to talk to Mark about that - It seemed like it
wasn't compensated, because it went ballistic every time I pulled up;
Made it rather difficult to work out average climb rates, and the
audio was almost useless). The other one was the fact that the
owner has stipulated that convertees carry out two air-starts before
going cross country, so I couldn't claim my gold badge from the
flight.

So I made up for those annoyances by spending nearly four hours having
the best time I've had all year. God it sucks to be on holidays
sometimes.  But not today :-)
