The sad situation at the moment is that, unless someone on this list knows otherwise, you cannot buy a genuine Tost G88 mainspring in Australia.
GFA are going to be the local agent but are still in the process of finalizing the legal issues and Ian McPhee has relinquished his representation for Tost release parts.
A few weeks ago, the mainspring broke in one of Balaklava's K21 belly releases. Hence with no available parts we adapted a Blanik release spring to keep the aircraft flying. It works and is safe but the return force is less than ideal and it probably won't last too long, but we still have a stock of Blanik springs.
So if anyone knows of someone with a suitable original G88 spring that we could borrow/buy/steal I would appreciate any advice.
