Saw a line up photo of the comp, looked Great! Wish I were there, unfortunately but fortunately, but I was offered my 1st PAID Passenger Charter Flying Job just 2 weeks before the comps and couldn't refuse! I'm currently up in Weipa flying 50hrs a month in a Cessna 310 and Cherokee 6! Might be up here for another week or possibly till the end of October, depending on how busy it stays!
Bring on the Junior Nats!!
Best Regards Woolley Pup Pup

I think Bruce Taylor's win is more a case of a very good pilot, in good form who is well suited to his aircraft, rather than simply a case of poor handicapping or other big wing advantages.
At the CC nationals, I have heard people talking about borring a Libelle rather than flying their 'big wing' in order to have a better chance of winning - so it seems there are issues on both sides of the handicapping fence!
