Peter,
Long story kept short. We were forced to aerotow by the Dept. or else we
would have lost BCS. Long story is the years of Dept. pressure to remove the
gliding. Great reading for history buffs.
Best reply to Dept. from BCS gliding went something like this,
Dear Sir,
Get stuffed.
Nasty letter to follow.
Yours sincerely, etc.
Pulley is still in existance somewhere in NSW. We are trying to track it
down as it still belongs to the VMFG. It left us and went to 2 other clubs
who I understand had similar results.
