Ah the youth of today... Lego has become less popular too (hard to believe for such an excellent toy).
I remember building many lego aircraft when I was young (that was in the days when the lego bricks were rectangular and there were very few specialised pieces (i.e. wheels, windows, flat sheets etc.), hence you had to simulate curved surfaces with '3D voxellation' using lego bricks.
