Nick,

Ya just made a semi grown man cry, looks like i'm out being 28,

But i still would like to attend and get away from work (paid work) for a couple of weeks, do you need extra tug pilots ? and rope runners ?

<sniff sniff>

Interestingly enough, there has been very little correlation between
experience (hours wise) and performance in the competition. The winner of
last years event had 100 hours, and beat several 1000+ pilots.

Those of you who are not able to compete due to being chronologically
challenged (as I am) are welcome to come along anyway and assist us!

Ben,

You have to be less than 26 years old at the start of the competition.
There are no limitations with regard to flying experience - we have
had
pilots with < 100hrs, and pilots with > 4000hrs!
