This is my opinion - I am not an expert...
* Polaroid lenses
- Advantage is that you can see gliders better
- Disadvantage is that you can get interference from Canopy which may
give you dark patches
- Also some issues with Organiser screens and other instruments
- I have a pair of Oakley - but they were not cheap
* Eagle Eyes
- Advantage is that it lets you see clouds and other weather
conditions (haze domes etc)
- Disadvantage is that as it effects colours it changes how you see
things - not sure where this fits
- They are relatively cheap (I think $50 from memory) and come from
US pretty fast.
What do I use - both. Depending on conditions. But lately I have been
mostly using the Eagle Eyes.
