In a similar way when we recently landed motorgliders at Tindal (Catherine
NT), on a Sunday, on the way to Burketown we had to use the ASIC to get out
of airside to civilian side and then back in the next morning via a
security controlled gate. Camera and phone/intercom system.
That was the only time that we really needed to use the ASIC card. Other
stops were Port Headland, Derby, Halls Creek, Burketown, Longreach,
Birdsville, Cobber Pedy, Forrest and Kalgoorlie.

Regards,
John Orton
