Flex or bust. I have replaced far too many FS optics that have just started belching errors out of nowhere for absolutely no reason, especially within a week of being put into service. It’s simply not worth running the gauntlet for the minuscule cost saving

Since going 100% flex, I think we have had about three out of over 1000 deployed needing RMA.

Codecom are our distributor, they hold local stock and can usually have the most common items to us overnight.

Used FS and Cloudtronics personally, FS is easier/cheaper to recode, and usually quicker delivery too.

Hi All,

Who do we use and trust for Cisco Compatible SFPs? I'm looking for some 1000Base-LX and the cisco price is completely crazy compared to the likes of FS who just seem too cheap but also have quick dispatch stock.

This is for floor switches with redundancy so its not super critical.

Thanks.
