My thanks to everyone who replied to this note in the minutes with kind words. It seems like perfect timing with the recent news that the ISO edition of Issue 8 has been approved, a fitting cap to "my" era of POSIX.1/SUS (complete coincidence of course; I let Andrew know more than a year ago that I planned to retire this month). Today is my last working day, so I will be unsubscribing from the mailing list shortly. I wish the group well with TC1 and, in due course, Issue 9. Regards, Geoff.
