[authors] ***PING*** Base Guide

      I have reviewed Chapter 1, Introducing Base, and returned it to 
the Base3 feedback folder. I replaced several screenshots which were not 
using the Win XP Silver desktop theme. I changed some text to make more 
sense. The last section of the Base outline for chapter 1 had somehow 
been removed. I created this section.
      I would like for someone to proofread Chapter 1. It would be nice 
if someone could check for any errors in the instructions as well.
