Here is what Michele wrote to me in mid March (this year):

Unfortunately I am lagging a bit behind with the update of the Impress
guide to version 3.2
I have revised the first 3 chapters and had to spend some time adding
some text on the use of comments in the slide which is a new feature
of 3.2 that I did not realize existed. There are also some rather
fundamental changes I would like to make for example to the section
explaining how to put together a presentation which is repeated in
chapter 1 and chapter 2.
As a consequence, I do not think I will be able to meet the end of
month deadline, most likely I will upload all the revised chapters
some time in the first half of April.
