The section of chapter I was concerned about was the bit you liked :-)

Originally this section was a bit nothing, so Jean took it out. I asked if
it should be redone or something, led with my chin, and Jean "suggested" I
could redo it......

So I have tried to put something together on using formulas/functions in a
spreadsheet. It is not totally Chapter 7 specific, as it probably forms
part of a tutorial on setting up spreadsheets or something.
