Thanks to both of you for all your work on this chapter. I'll look at
the file later today and do final tidying-up (accept/reject, fix
lists, whatever is needed).
Claire: all the graphics seem to be there. Re Fig 22: the line
thickness is much better (especially for the red pointer lines), but
the font is a bit small and appears to be condensed, so the net effect
is hard to read (at least for me). If you have other font choices
available in the program you're using, you might try some different
ones to see if some work better.
Martin: in a comment, you asked, "General question: Where is the use
of $ to explain anchoring located in the CG? (have not looked for it)
Need to address $a$5 as well as $a5 and a$5 references." My reply: "I
don’t think this topic is covered in the book. If it is, I can’t find
it. Please write something and put it in an appropriate place." We
should follow up on that, when you have time.

Hello Claire
The section of chapter I was concerned about was the bit you liked :-)
Originally this section was a bit nothing, so Jean took it out. I asked if
it should be redone or something, led with my chin, and Jean "suggested" I
could redo it......
So I have tried to put something together on using formulas/functions in a
spreadsheet. It is not totally Chapter 7 specific, as it probably forms
part of a tutorial on setting up spreadsheets or something.
thanks for the compliment....
kind regards
Martin

Hi Martin/Jean
I can't seem to find the string where you ask my opinion on a section of
the chapter. Anyway, I've reviewed the chapter and put it back in the
feedback folder along with some example spreadsheets. On the whole I
liked the last section where you discuss setting up a spreadsheet but I
feel that it should come earlier in the chapter, as you would set up a
spreadsheet before entering formula and using functions. Nicely written
Martin!
Re Function Toolbar Graphic - Jean, I tried playing around with the
thickness of the text in Hornil Stylepix which is the package I use, and
set it to 60% of the thickness that I usually have it at after your
feedback from the Draw Guide. Please let me know if this is better.
Also please let me know if I need to forward the graphics to you.
Best wishes
Claire

Hi Jean
I uploaded Chapter 7 for review. The stuff I added should be shown as
changed text.
Jean: Please decide (again!) whether the last section stays in or out.
It really could be a whole chapter by itself (just joking....) but I
think I covered the basics and give some practical hints less
experienced users can follow to save themselves some problems.
