I think, it is no issue for OOoAuthors in general. The documents are under an 
open 
source license. It's not the foundation or some other institution that's the 
owner of 
the documents. We can use and work on them under the terms of the CC-BY, GPL or 
whatever free license, they are released.

The goal of the foundation initiative is not to create a fork. It's now - after 
ten 
years - time to set up an independent foundation that holds the code and the 
trademark / naming of OpenOffice.org.

As I mentioned before Oracle is invited to join the foundation (like other 
contributors). There is enough space for them to jump in.
