Thank you for explaining. I understand now. A strike! (Or, "industrial
action" as we call it in Australia.) Hey, I can use the excuse for some
time off.

Somehow I don't think this is going to help my call for people to work
on updating the user guides. :-)

Joking aside, you have a good point, which I must think more about.
