Is the first page of the template the cover, or is it the title page that would show up after the cover?
It is not a cover. It is the first page of a chapter. Each chapter has one of those.
1) Because I was trying to figure out why there was a blank page after the first page.
We have 3 pages before the contents start: (1) the title page, (2) the table of contents, and (3) the copyright, feedback, etc.
It is customary that the body text start on a right page. Grab a few books. You will be pressed to find a book where the contents start on the left. This means that we have to have a blank page somewhere. So we might as well put it after the title page, where people will expect to see it.
Fair enough, I was just making sure that was why it was there.
2) To try to and answer some my other question about the copyright info.
What was the other question about copyright info?
Wondering if we could put the copyright info before the ToC as it is in most books.
So the order would be: (1) the title page, (2) the copyright and feedback, etc.and (3) the table of contents then the actually contents.
