We *really* need Chapter 3, Creating Formulas and Using Functions, but
we could publish a first edition of the book without the chapters on
Data Analysis using Scenarios and Goal Seek, and Macros, adding those
chapters later.

You can tell by this question that I haven't done anything, for which I
apologize. My time is opening up a bit though and I think I can get back
into making some contributions to OOoAuthors.
Have you heard anything from Rick Barnes as to whether he has done
anything on the Creating Formulas and Using Functions chapter? If he
hasn't done anything, I'd be willing to start working on that one.
