Back to colour schemes again, Jean???
I don't think the colour scheme used for the screen captures
matters very much. The screen captures in the existing books have
been made on a variety of operating systems and themes, but I
think the end result looks quite acceptable.
Of course, I have my personal preferences. For example, I prefer
something that looks good with the blue used for the headings in
the docs. To my eyes, that means either a blue or a silver-gray
theme. I find the Windows XP "blue" theme too bright and garish
for my taste, so when I was still using Windows, I picked the
"silver" theme. Now that I'm using Ubuntu Linux, I pick a theme
with blues and grays, rather than the default Ubuntu browns. Then
I try to find a plain theme that looks fairly generic, such as
"Clearlooks" in Ubuntu.
