I would like to replace a lot of the screenshots in Chapter 12 of
the Writer Guide, "Creating Tables of Contents, Indexes, and
Bibliographies". The ones I want to replace are all the ones that
show the various pages of the Insert Index/Table dialog.
With one exception, these show that dialog with "Preview"
enabled. This means the dialog is quite wide and so is reduced in
size quite a bit to fit on the page. This makes the important
part of the dialog (the right-hand side) hard to read. IMO, the
"preview" doesn't add value in the chapter and just takes up
space, so I would like to replace all of these figures with ones
with "Preview" turned off.
Would someone be able to do this? Ideally using the WindowsXP
"silver" theme so they match the other screenshots in that
chapter, which are fine and don't need replacing. (If you should
really want to redo all the screenshots on some other operating
system, you are welcome to do so.)
Replacing these figures will almost surely change some of the
pagination (because they will be larger overall). That's not a
problem, but do remember to (a) check for bad page breaks and fix
them if you can, and (b) update the TOC for that chapter after
you finish, so it shows the correct page numbers.
Thanks to anyone who can help! This is not an urgent task, but it
is something that I would not get to at all.
