Hi, Some of us at Kinvolk talked to Lennart about the official repository of the avahi project, because at the moment the situation is quite confusing - the official repo is still http://git.0pointer.net/avahi.git, but apparently the newest releases are cut from the https://github.com/lathiat/avahi repo and the main avahi page mentions the latter as the location for filing issues and pull requests.
It may be a good idea to create an official organization on github to avoid this situation. Currently, github.com/avahi seems to be taken, so there are two options: Follow the anti-squatting policy on github ( https://help.github.com/articles/name-squatting-policy/) to take over the name. If this account is actually used (may have an activity only on private repositories, so from outside it looks unused), then maybe register an organization under a different name like avahi-sd (from avahi service discovery). If there is an agreement for the above scenario, I can make the steps to let it happen. I can also offer some of my time to the maintenance of the project.
