Cool beans!

if you rename the thing, you should rename the package =)

+1 (assuming you and/or pete and/or Rana are willing to support)

me too +1. Should probably do this to XCommander as well (know of
3 closed-source projects where it is the backbone of very cool
stuff) because it is more app than demo. Have no time at all tho :-(

1) doesn't mean anything to most
2) doesn't go with the Legend-Of-Arthur naming thing we've got
going on.

so -1.

Why doesn't apache do plain names? We have Apache HTTP Server,
don't we?

My choice would be simply "Avalon FTP Server" as it is quite clear
and correct a description and solidifies the avalon brand name.

On another subject, this is the third app we're putting
in cornerstone that is not really a cornerstone. Time to
vote on an jakart-avalon-applications cvs, perhaps?
(containing the FTP Server, the proxy server (which is
called HTTP Proxy) and XCommander (which perhaps should
be called Avalan XML Socket Server)).

cheers,

- Leo
