I took a look at it. Both ways seem equally long - reverting looks like having to back out major parts, making it use Info properly looks like having to add major parts. I patched it so that it should compile, but I have no idea if the patch follows the architectural intentions in Phoenix, and no idea on whether Phoenix works at all. If it compiles, then I'd say we leave it there.
