I made a forward port for myself sometime ago, only about 2 calls had to be
modified. But it chokes on the "copyprotected" (i.e. with corrupt mpg data)
DVDs :-(. The only thing being able to work with these under Linux seems to be
vlc.

Moreover the bitrate calculation is somewhat unclear to me, it seems to keep
using mystery values. Also I was unable to get other mp3 bitrate than 160kbps
working (other result in silence).

No warranty, if it doesnt compile or wipes your disk I'm not responsible.
