Well the lastest win9x matrox driver 6.5x is actually noticable faster than
any DRI I've used so far.
I would say that 6.5x run almost as fast in 32bit as linux in 16bit.
and scores much better in 16b (at least in QIII test)
(even when I overclock my MAX card)
As for NVidia cards - I think then when you use 'right hardware' than
everything works - however I assume NVidia developers have a very little
set of various hardware combinations - so the only way they could
fix such problems is to comunicate with such user - however I assume
this is too much for them and actually its very hard to do with
closed source development.
