Slap to forehead. I installed ximian a while back and w/ it came a few
development packages that conflicted w/ source I'd compiled (thus the
copies of esd.m4, gdk-pixbuf.m4 and imlib.m4 in both
/usr/local/share/aclocal and /usr/share/aclocal). I stared at those error
message for ages and never thought of that. After I moved the copies in
/usr/share/aclocal to temp names, ./autogen.sh and ./configure both ran
fine. avifile (updated cvs an hours or so ago) is now compiling. I'm
seeing a few warnings, but that's it so far.
