Please just ignore the MPlayer developers as much as possible.  They're
rude, childish and grouchy.  I don't understand why they're doing what they
are doing if it makes them so unhappy.

BTW, once I understood that autogen needed to be run before configure I had
no trouble at all compiling.  :-)
