[Avifile]Looking for Basic Samples for Coding AVIFILE in a QT Application

Just wondering if someone has some examples for using the AVIFILE package in 
QT.

I am having a some trouble understanding the way to go about using the package
in my own application.

If someone could show me a few basic examples in opening, playing and 
unloading an AVI movie I would really appreciate it.
