You need the win 32 dll files ... You can get a rpm from :::::::::::: http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine/w32codec-0.50-1.i386.rpm http://free-zg.hinet.hr/mozgy/Avifile/avifile-codecs-20011106-1.i386.rpm Mandrake package from http://lis.snv.jussieu.fr/~rousse/linux/plf/soft/win32-codecs/win32-codecs-20011002-2mdk.i586.rpm here is a tgz if you don't like rpms http://avifile.sourceforge.net/binaries-011002.tgz Rpms are simple they do all the work for you :) The tgz file if you should use it place all the files dll's .asx ext !!! in /usr/lib/win32 You will need to make the directory win32 as root and un pack the .tgz in the directory Then try to play movie once more :) Also I see your PC is only 330 mhz so I would also look into hdparm.
