Alright. I already had the files in the proper directory, but I installed 
the ones from the link that you gave me just in case it was a version 
problem. However, I still get exactly the same output as above.

What would I be looking for in hdparm? I already made sure that the cdrom 
and HD are using DMA. What else should I be looking for?
