There are actually big things coming along the ogg front. It seems that
the avi format lacks the facilities to integrate ogg vorbis sound streams
cleanly. Someone has hacked up a Directshow codec that can multiplex DivX
video and vorbis audio into an Ogg stream. I have to look where I found
information about this, but it's in all major DivX forums at the moment...

Anyway it seems that his implementation is pretty straightforward. He
plans to open the source once the code is readable and stable :(
