[Avifile]Avifile Question

Hello,       How can I remove avifile-0.53.5.tar.gz from my system, which I succesfully compiled from source? I realized I need avifile .6> to use VCR, the TV capture program.       I looked in the makefile for other make targets, such as make uninstall, to no avail. I'm a bit of a newbie, be gentle :)   Thanks, Oatz   PS: I read the FAQ and searched usenet before I mailed.
