hi/2 all...

Running avifile cvs of today...
Well, aviplay is running ok, but the codecs still are a bit crazy, example:
i have a few trailers encoded with divx 5.0.2 (windows version), and when i
put them to run with aviplay, the codec choosed by aviplay is the ffmpeg one,
good, real fast but without postprocessing. What is curious is that divx 5.0
is before ffmpeg in the codecs prefs, but aviplay just ignores that and goes
directly to choose ffmpeg opendivx, but sometimes, if i play other trailers,
divx 5.0 is chosen and used (i didn't changed the codecs order, it's all
aviplay way of doing things). Am i missing anything here? , i discovered that
the order doesn't really matter, since divx 5.0 is almost all the time
ignored and ffmpeg used, when in theory both should play all backward divxs..
and yes, they all are 5.x... could you give me some light on this one
zdenek?
Now a feaure request, could you please (when you had the time) add
deinterlacing to aviplay ? since some divx come interlaced, deinterlace
becomes a must, mplayer and xine already have it, but i like aviplay best to
play divx movies (sub legends below movie, black border, and other things
make me prefer aviplay).

ps, below there is a small cut from aviplay konsole to ilustrate my point on
the error...

this one was cut from .avm/aviplay which ilustrates that divx5.0 IS before
ffmpeg opendivx. btw a better way to handle codecs/decoders would be greatly
appreciated (like be aple to set properties for each one, about , etc)
